Rockmill Saison Tasting Notes:
Appearance: Brilliantly clear of any haze, clean 10-11 SRM (22 EBC). Poured with a very white veil head.
Aroma: Apricot esters up front, with light raw grain and bready aroma, followed again by stonefruits (maybe peach) finish.
Mouth feel: Good weight, honey (almost chewy) body, leaves pallet cleanly with a thin honey film.
Taste: Peach/light stonefruits upfront, honey, honey body, bready graininess and honey finish.
Flavor and Overall: Great saison. Light stonefruit esters are very appealing. The honey, bready body leaves you craving more. Slightly sweet, but clean finish.
