Earlier this year, Grouse Malting and Roasting Co. presented to Rocky Mountain Innosphere’s Social and Advisory Group For Entreprenurs (SAGE), a program designed to provide companies with advisory and mentoring assistance to become a sustainable business. We are fortunate to be working with a team of highly experienced advisors who are dedicated to assisting in Grouse’s success. Please meet our SAGE team: Don Daniel, Rob Phillips, John Rankin, Rick Feltenberger, Scott Sampl, and William Reynolds.

Grouse would not be here today without the support of Randy, Jean, and Bryce Hediger. Jean was a believer in Grouse long before we had a name. She has been instrumental in the research, preparation, development, marketing, and numerous other aspects of this business including encouraging us to apply for UNC’s Entrepreneur Challenge, providing the space for our first malt house at Golden Prairie, and offering insightful suggestions to overcome challenges. Jean’s guidance, foresight, and gumption are gifts we are blessed to have had the past few years. Randy and Bryce helped solve the mechanical and technical conundrums we faced when getting into production this year. Whether it be thinking outside the box, prototyping, or fabrication, these two are the kindest and handiest guys we know.
